The AgroBourse platform takes openness to the academic and student world very seriously. That is why on 16 December 2020 it signed a partnership agreement with the Faculty of Economic Legal Sciences and Management of Jendouba as part of a master’s degree co-constructed Entrepreneurship and Management of Agricultural and Agro-Food Projects founded by the faculty.

Jendouba is a city in northwestern Tunisia, its surroundings are full of agricultural and mineral wealth. Its economy is mainly based on grain farming, livestock, vegetable crops and arboreal growth. The area of agricultural land in the region is 286,200 acres, or 92% of the total area of the governorate and almost 3.4% of the country’s agricultural area.

Yassine Grissa, CEO of Agrobourse, received Professor Regaieg Boutheina, Dean of the Faculty of Economic Legal Sciences and Management of Jendouba at The AgroBourse premises for the signing of the agreement.

The convention supports AgroBourse’s desire to help students to develop their skills in agriculture and agri-food by preparing them for their integration into the professional environment.

This collaboration gives our platform the opportunity to communicate its concept and functionality to young  businessmen and agri-food students by:

  • Welcoming trainee students to our institution by mentoring them and providing them with a professional environment ;
  • Taking advantage of the expertise of students/teachers in the agricultural and agri-food sector ;
  • Making it easier for future graduates’s adjustment to the needs of the national market in agribusiness ;
  • Developing cooperative and exchange of expertise (participation in strategic studies in the agricultural sectors) ;
  • Involving AgroBourse in the various activities related to the master partner.

The Faculty of Economic Legal Sciences and Management of Jendouba will offer AgroBourse the opportunity to meet professionals in the agricultural and agri-food sector, including APIA (The Agricultural Investment Promotion Agency) or Bizerte’s competitive technology hub, and more broadly the faculty’s partners in the framework of the Master’s Joint Construction of Entrepreneurship and Management of Agricultural and Agri-Food Projects.

On behalf of AgroBourse, we would like to thank the Faculty assured that this new partnership will be very fruitful, both in terms of professional integration of students and for the agricultural development of the area.
